Seriously® Strong Vintage has such a characterful taste and a unique crunchy texture which crumbles gently as you slice it, that it needs no accompaniment. Alternatively savour it simply with fresh crusty bread.
Typically matured for 20 months for the ultimate characterful flavour and texture.
This cheddar owes it’s full flavour to a lengthy maturation which can result in white spots on the cheddar and the presence of calcium lactate crystals (which give a tantalising crunch in the mouth). These are hallmarks of good quality and typically found in the best quality vintage cheddars.
